Bo Harris convicted of murder in Fannin County
BY K. MCSTAY
HERALD DEMOCRAT
BONHAM -- After 30 minutes of deliberation, a Fannin County jury convicted 20-year-old Bo Bailey Harris in the murder of 22-year-old William Ian Adams.
Harris gave a written confession, said Fannin County Sheriff Kenneth Moore. He was originally arrested on April 22, 2008, Moore said, very quickly after the initial report was made. The Greenville, Texas police initially reported that a homicide may have been committed, and working with that information, the Fannin County Sheriff's Office quickly located the body. "All that helped us resolve this homicide pretty quickly," he said.
The Sheriff's Office requested help from the Texas Rangers, he said. "The Ranger's Service helped us with the homicide investigation," he said. "We called the Rangers in because we felt like with their assistance we could solve this case in a more timely manner." That, he said, is typical of Fannin County. "The Sheriff's Office in Fannin is always willing to ask for help if we feel like help is needed," he said.
This investigation, he said, was a success. During the trial, several witnesses were called, and evidence was poured over. The next step in the case is the punishment phase, which started at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. As the conviction returned was murder, Moore said the punishment could be anywhere from 5 years to 99 years or life.

The reason it was solved was because Bo couldn't keep his mouth shut and people reported it to the police. The article clearly states that fact. Pray for Bo relatives. They've gotta be hurting, along with Ian's relatives.

I guess it would take someone walking in to the Sheriff's office and saying they did it for them to be able to solve anything. I do believe this is the only case in a while they have "solved in a timely manner" How many people have gone missing form Fannin County in the past few months that they have no idea what has happened to them. Good job Fannin, you finally solved a case. Now lets see if you can solve all the others like Jennifer Harris, Jack Morris or one of the many that you havent done anything about!
Great

OK.....great reporting.....now, what happened? When was the murder? Where was the murder? What were the circumstances? This is not very informative at all.
